Climate-related risks and opportunities are reviewed through governance, strategy, risk management and performance oversight. Scenario analysis and recognised disclosure frameworks help teams make and report decisions more consistently.
Across our operations, we are working to use energy more efficiently, increase renewable electricity and improve measurement across Scope 1, Scope 2 and relevant Scope 3 emissions.

Wind Power for Lower-Carbon Grids
Ming Yang develops onshore, fixed-bottom offshore and floating wind technology for a wide range of conditions, including deep-water and far-offshore sites.
Our engineers consider energy yield, reliability, materials, manufacturing, installation, operation and end-of-life management together. Larger turbine platforms can also reduce the number of foundations and installation activities needed for a given project capacity.
Circular design is part of that work. A 75.7-metre blade referenced in the 2025 Climate Change White Paper achieved a reported material recovery rate of more than 95%.
We publish environmental performance and climate progress through annual sustainability and ESG reporting.
People, Safety and Responsible Supply Chains
People
Clear policies, training and accountability support health and safety across our operations. The same standards apply to the environments in which employees and contractors work.
We also invest in technical skills and professional development. Inclusive, respectful workplaces help us retain the expertise needed to deliver reliable energy projects over the long term.
Responsible manufacturing and ethical supply chains
Our standards cover environmental protection, labour practices, human rights and business ethics. They extend to employees, suppliers, contractors and partners through our Sustainability Development Code of Conduct and Supplier Sustainability Development Code of Conduct.
These standards reference the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and International Labour Organisation standards. Ming Yang takes a zero-tolerance approach to forced labour, child labour, discrimination and unethical business practices.
Governance and Accountability
The board oversees ESG matters, supported by a management structure responsible for implementation, risk management and performance monitoring. This keeps sustainability connected to strategy, operations and long-term planning.
We assess ESG risks and opportunities regularly and publish sustainability and ESG reports so stakeholders can review our performance over time.
